Kundlistar ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Kundlistar astrology platform at kundlistar.com and its associated mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including our astrology charts, AI-generated reports, subscriptions, and related features.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

• Account Data: Name, email address, password, and user ID when you register or sign in.

• Birth Data: Date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender if provided, and other details entered for chart calculations and report generation.

• Profile Preferences: Language preference, chart style, timezone, notification settings, saved preferences, and similar account settings.

• User-Generated Content: Saved charts, generated reports, report inputs, selected life events, and other information you choose to submit or save inside the app.

2.2 Purchase and Subscription Information

• Purchase History: Subscription status, plan type, report credits, add-on purchases, and transaction references required to manage your access.

• We do not collect or store your payment card number, UPI ID, bank account details, or other sensitive payment credentials.

• Payments made through the mobile app may be processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment information according to its own policies.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and basic technical logs for security, debugging, and rate-limiting purposes.

• App interactions, usage activity, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data to improve the app and fix issues.

• Device or other identifiers, such as an advertising identifier or app installation identifier, where available and permitted by your device settings.

• Access logs for shared chart links, such as view count and timestamp.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To perform astrological calculations and generate birth charts, predictions, and reports.

• To generate AI-assisted astrology reports and personalized interpretations.

• To create and manage your account, saved charts, report history, subscription, and add-on credits.

• To send transactional messages such as welcome emails, password reset emails, purchase confirmations, and important service updates.

• To enforce chart limits, subscription entitlements, report credits, and usage limits.

• To improve app performance, user experience, and report quality.

• To measure campaign performance, attribute subscriptions, understand marketing effectiveness, and improve our advertising.

• To detect, prevent, and fix technical issues, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or policy violations.

4. Astrological Calculations and AI-Generated Reports

Kundlistar performs astrological calculations, including planetary and house calculations, using our own systems and astrology calculation logic. Some reports and interpretations may also use artificial intelligence services to generate personalized explanations based on the birth details and chart information provided by you.

• Your birth details and chart-related inputs may be processed by our servers to generate charts and reports.

• For AI-generated reports, relevant user-provided data and chart information may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing.

• AI-generated content is automated and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every situation.

• AI-generated astrology reports are provided for informational, educational, spiritual, and entertainment purposes only.

• Reports should not be treated as medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

5. Data Storage and Retention

• Birth charts are stored when you are logged in and choose to save them, or when storage is required to provide your selected app features.

• Generated reports may be stored so you can view your report history, download reports, manage credits, or access purchased content.

• You can delete saved charts where this feature is available in your account or dashboard.

• Account data is retained until you request account deletion, unless retention is required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or security purposes.

• Purchase and subscription records may be retained for the period required for billing, accounting, legal compliance, refund handling, and fraud prevention.

• Password reset tokens expire after a limited time and are never stored in plain text.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process data only in the following circumstances:

• AI Service Providers: We may share relevant user-provided data, birth details, chart information, and report inputs with AI service providers to generate AI-assisted reports.

• Cloud and Hosting Providers: We may use infrastructure providers to host our application, database, APIs, and files.

• Email and Communication Providers: We may use email or notification providers to send transactional messages such as password resets, account updates, and support responses.

• Analytics, Crash, and Diagnostics Providers: We may use tools to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and maintain app stability.

• Advertising and Measurement Partners: Kundlistar may share limited app or website usage, device or account identifier, and subscription-event information with advertising and analytics partners such as Meta to measure campaign performance, attribute subscriptions, and improve advertising. This may include an advertising identifier, subscription status, plan name, purchase value, currency, and related event information. We do not share payment-card or banking details with Meta.

• Google Play Billing: Purchases and subscriptions made through the app may be processed by Google Play Billing. We may receive purchase status and transaction references, but not your payment card or UPI details.

• Chart Sharing: If you generate a public share link, the chart data represented by that link may be accessible to anyone who has the link until you delete or revoke it, where supported.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, safety, or services.

7. AI Content Reporting and Safety

Because some Kundlistar features use AI-generated content, we may provide options for users to report generated content that they believe is inaccurate, harmful, offensive, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate.

• Reported content may be reviewed to improve safety, quality, and policy compliance.

• We may use reports to identify unsafe patterns, improve prompts, improve moderation, and prevent harmful outputs.

• We may restrict, regenerate, remove, or modify AI-generated outputs where necessary for safety or compliance.

8. Security

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — plain-text passwords are never stored.

• Authentication uses signed tokens with expiry.

• HTTPS is enforced in production environments.

• We use reasonable access controls, server-side protections, and monitoring to protect user data.

• API endpoints may be protected with rate limiting, CORS restrictions, and security headers.

While we use reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Kundlistar may use cookies, local storage, mobile identifiers, or similar technologies for authentication, session management, preferences, security, app functionality, analytics, advertising measurement, and subscription attribution. You can limit advertising identifiers through your device settings and manage browser cookies or tracking controls in your browser. Restricting these technologies may reduce attribution accuracy but does not remove your purchased access. We do not use these technologies to sell your personal information.

10. Account and Data Deletion

• When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account data, saved charts, and associated personal data, unless retention is required by law, security, billing, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention obligations.

• Some purchase records, transaction references, support records, or legal records may be retained where required for compliance, accounting, refund handling, or legitimate business purposes.

• Deletion requests are typically processed within a reasonable period after verification.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
