By Astrologer Anmol Chanana
Aapne kabhi socha hoga: "Mujhe apna exact birth time nahi pata — kya meri kundli sahi se analyze ho sakti hai?"
Ya phir aapke mann mein ek specific sawaal hai — "Kya mujhe yeh job milegi?", "Kya meri property deal hogi?", "Kya kho gayi cheez wapas milegi?"
In dono situations ke liye KP Horary Astrology (Prashna Kundli) ek amazing solution hai. Yeh KP System ka woh branch hai jo sirf aapke question ke moment ka chart use karta hai — birth time ki zaroorat hi nahi.
Is complete guide mein hum KP Horary ke har aspect ko cover karenge — concept, method, application, aur real examples.
Horary Astrology Kya Hai?
Horary ka matlab hai "of the hour" — yaani jis ghante sawaal pucha gaya, us moment ka chart.
KP Horary mein concept simple hai:
- Querent (sawaal poochhne waala) ek number 1 se 249 choose karta hai — mentally ya randomly
- Us number ke hisaab se Lagna decide hota hai (ek specific table ke through)
- Phir us Lagna se poora chart banaya jaata hai — planets us time ke actual positions pe
- KP rules apply karo — same sub lord logic — answer milta hai
Yeh method surprisingly accurate hai. Guruji aur unke students ne hazaron cases validate kiye hain.
1 to 249 Number System — Kaise Kaam Karta Hai?
KP Horary mein 249 numbers ka significance yeh hai:
- Zodiac 360° hai, 27 nakshatras hain, har nakshatra 9 subs mein — total 27 × 9 = 243 sub divisions
- Kuch systems mein 249 numbers use hote hain jo upagraha positions bhi consider karte hain
Each number corresponds to a specific degree range of the zodiac. Jab querent number deta hai, woh essentially ek specific degree point choose karta hai, jo us moment ka ascendant ban jaata hai.
Example:
- Number 1 → Aries 0°0'0" to 0°46'40" (Ketu sub)
- Number 2 → Aries 0°46'40" to 2°40'00" (Venus sub)
- ...aur aise aage chalta hai...
- Number 249 → Pisces 29°13'20" to 30°0'0"
Har number ke saath:
- Sign decide hota hai → Sign Lord
- Nakshatra decide hota hai → Star Lord
- Sub decide hoti hai → Sub Lord
Yeh tino milke question ka answer dete hain.
KP Horary Ka Core Principle: Ruling Planets
KP Horary mein Ruling Planets (RP) central role play karte hain. RP woh planets hain jo us moment mein most powerful aur significant hain:
| Ruling Planet | Basis |
|---|---|
| Day Lord | Which day of the week it is |
| Moon Sign Lord | Sign Moon is currently in |
| Moon Star Lord | Nakshatra Moon is currently in |
| Ascendant Sign Lord | Sign of Horary Lagna |
| Ascendant Star Lord | Nakshatra of Horary Lagna |
Key Rule: Agar Ruling Planets aur query-related significators mein overlap hai — event likely hai. Jitna zyada overlap, utna zyada certainty.
Agar Ruling Planet retrograde ho — event unlikely ya delayed. Agar Ruling Planet combust ho — weakened results.
Horary Chart Se Question Ka Jawab: Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Number Lo
Querent apna number 1-249 mein choose kare. Yeh freely, spontaneously karna chahiye — overthinking nahi.
Step 2: Horary Chart Banao
Us number se Lagna determine karo. Current planetary positions use karo (accurate ephemeris se).
Step 3: Ruling Planets Identify Karo
Din, Moon position, Lagna position se 5 Ruling Planets identify karo.
Step 4: Question Ka House Identify Karo
Sawaal kis area se related hai?
- Job/Career → 6th, 10th house
- Marriage → 2nd, 7th, 11th house
- Property → 4th house
- Money/Finance → 2nd, 11th house
- Health → 1st, 6th house
- Foreign travel → 3rd, 9th, 12th house
- Lost objects → 2nd house (recovery), 8th house (lost/stolen)
- Litigation/Court → 6th house (winning), 12th (losing)
Step 5: Cuspal Sub Lord Check Karo
Relevant house ka CSL check karo. Kya yeh favorable houses signify kar raha hai?
Step 6: Significators Identify Karo
Query-related house ke significators list karo — occupants, house lord, planets in their stars.
Step 7: Ruling Planets Se Match Karo
Significators mein se jo Ruling Planets se match karein — woh planets event ke trigger hain.
Step 8: Answer Decide Karo
- Significators + RP match → YES, event will happen
- No match or unfavorable sub lords → NO or unlikely
- Mixed → Delayed or conditional yes

Agar wahi Venus 3H, 5H, 10H signify karti → Sale of property (opposition gains)
Important KP Horary Rules
Rule 1: Retrograde Rejection
Kisi bhi significator ko reject karo agar woh:
- Retrograde planet ke star mein baitha ho
- Retrograde planet ke sub mein baitha ho Exception: Agar significator khud retrograde ho lekin direct planet ke star/sub mein ho — toh yeh apni direct period mein result dega.
Rule 2: 12th House Negation
Har house ka 12th house us house ke results negate karta hai:
- 12th to 6th = 5th house → 5th house involvement 6H event ko negate karta hai (job lose)
- 12th to 7th = 6th house → 6th house involvement marriage negate karta hai
Rule 3: Fruitful vs Barren Signs
Event ki speed ke liye 11th house cusp ka sign check karo:
- Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces (fruitful) → event soon
- Taurus, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn (semi-fruitful) → normal time
- Aries, Gemini, Leo, Virgo (barren) → delayed
Rule 4: Fast vs Slow Planets at 11th Cusp
Agar 11th cusp pe:
- Moon ya Mercury → event bahut jald
- Sun, Mars, Venus, Rahu, Ketu → normal pace
- Saturn, Jupiter → delays
